Willem van Baren has gained extensive experience in more than 100 arbitration cases, formerly mostly as counsel, but since November 2016 exclusively as independent international arbitrator. He acts as party appointed arbitrator, sole (emergency) arbitrator and chairman of arbitral tribunals in institutional and ad hoc arbitrations in commercial and investment disputes.
